Shipping Policy

Everything you need to know about how we ship, processing times, delivery windows, and what to do when your order arrives.

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 2–5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Shipping Times

We carry inventory stored in both Canada and the US, so certain items will have different shipping times.

Canadian Inventory

Standard shipping: 4–14 business days from the day the inventory is processed. Faster options may be available at checkout.

US Inventory

Standard shipping: 7–20 business days from the day the inventory is processed. Faster options may be available at checkout.

Some remote and rural areas of Canada may incur additional shipping and handling charges (examples: truck charges, ferry charges, tailgate fees). For complete details on charges for your specific location, please contact our team.

Important — Solar Panel Orders

All solar panels over 200W must be purchased in quantities of 2 or more for adequate protection during shipping. Alternatively, in-store pickup can be arranged for single-panel orders. Please contact us to arrange this.

Policy on Unexpected Shipping Fees

If additional unanticipated shipping charges are incurred as a result of revisions to addresses made after shipments have departed, rerouting to alternate locations, temporary storage requirements, or other unexpected changes that affect the total cost of shipping, these charges shall be covered by the customer.

How Shipping & Payment Works

To get you the best possible rate, shipping is quoted per order rather than charged as a fixed rate at checkout — we compare Canada Post, Purolator and freight carriers and choose the best option for your items and location.

When you check out, your card is authorized for the product total and applicable taxes, but not yet charged. Within our 2–5 business day processing window we confirm the best shipping rate, add it to your order, and then charge the final total — products, tax and shipping — as a single payment. You’ll see the complete amount before it’s charged, and your card is never charged twice.

Delivery Requirements

  • A signature is required on all deliveries — no exceptions
  • Inspect all delivered items for damage before signing
  • Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing
  • Report any damage to us within 48 hours of delivery with photos
  • For freight shipments, appointment delivery will be booked — the freight company will contact you directly to schedule
  • It is strongly recommended to have an extra set of hands available for unloading
  • Confirm all items on the packing list have arrived before signing off

Returns & Refunds

  • 25% restocking fee applies to all returns
  • Items must be in original unused condition and original packaging
  • Return must be initiated within 30 days of delivery
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Damaged-in-transit claims must be filed within 48 hours of delivery
  • Custom-ordered items may not be returnable — confirm before ordering
